Frequently Asked Questions

For counselling services, any individual aged 13+ , and that are physically located in B.C. or across Canada.

For consultation services, there is no age restriction. 

Counselling services are offered exclusively virtual, based off clients' preference of phone or video-call.

Consultation services are offered virtually or in-person. In-person service delivery is dependent on availability and location. 

Additional consultation fees may apply due to extent of travel, and customized request.

Wild Daisy Counselling and Consultation services are based out of Langley, British Columbia.

You can book any service with Wild Daisy Counselling & Consultation by calling, emailing, or booking an appointment online via the Jane App. You do not need an external referral to access services.

My biggest recommendation when starting counselling services and when you are looking for a new provider is to take advantage of their free consultation option. During this consultation you can determine your first impression and begin assessing whether you feel this counsellor will be a good fit for you.

Try to come to this consultation session with any questions, or concerns you may have. 

Start to ask yourself:

• What are my expectations, and values in regards to counselling services?
• How would I want these to align with the services that I am accessing from a new mental health provider? 
• What information about the counsellor or the services that the counsellor has already provided me, do I consider important or is speaking out to me?

During this initial consultation, my goal is to create some ease for you, answer your questions and/or concerns, and start exploring whether we are good therapeutic fit.

Wild Daisy Counselling & Consultation primarily operates Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm. Evening and weekend counselling sessions may be an option upon request and availability. Please reach out to me to find out about my current evening and weekend availability. 

Typically, counselling sessions are 50-minutes long. I have no issues increasing this session length for you, and adjusting session price appropriately, as per the request. Longer sessions will have to be booked in advance, so please reach out to inquire about this further.

No, not at all! Consultation services are completely customizable based off the request of the individual, family or group that has inquired about the educational service. I have the hourly price listed as a general reference of cost/time allocated.

Remember, quotes are available for any consultation request.

I accept e-transfer, or credit card. A credit card can be saved to your Jane App account for easy billing. Please note: a credit card surcharge of 2.4% is added to the session price for each transaction. 

Everyone's extended health insurance coverage may vary due to the specific titles, and credentials of the mental health providers that you get counselling coverage for. This may also be inclusive of the number of sessions available to you, and which family member is covered under the plan. Please reach out to me, so I can help you better understand what mental health providers are eligible for your coverage prior to starting services.

No. Wild Daisy Counselling Services does not provide direct billing to your extended health insurance company. All clients are responsible for submitting their own receipts to their insurance companies for reimbursement. You will receive a receipt at the end of every session and once payment has been received.
